Thandri Flower

Thandri Flower is scientifically known as Terminalia bellirica which belongs to the Combretaceae family. Thandri is a large deciduous tree that grows in lower hills in Southeast Asia countries. The Terminalia bellirica is commonly known as beleric, Behera, bastard myrobalan, and baheda. These herbal plant leaves are 15 cm long. In Ayurveda, The Thandri Flower is used to cure fever and also gives excellent relief from cough. It has a high amount of antidiarrheal properties, which helps to prevent diarrhea. It is also used to treat jaundice and skin problems.
