Himalayan Cedar bark is scientifically known as Cedrus deodara which comes under the Pinaceae family. It is also known as deodar cedar and deodar. Cedar Bark is extensively used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat numerous ailments. The native of this tree is the Indian subcontinent and the western Himalayas. It contains several medicinal properties such as antioxidant, anti-cancer, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties.
