Masikai is commonly known as Majuphal, Manjakani , Bluejack, and Oak Gall. It is one of the traditional medicines used to treat many diseases in Asia. It can grow in many different soil types. The native place of the Manjakani is in the middle east and southern Europe, and it also grew in South and Southwestern Asia. The scientific name of the Bluejack is Quercus Infectoria belongs to the Fagaceae and genus Quercus family. These plant roots are cylindrical and branched, showing fibrous fractures, and it is 10 cm long and 8 mm thick. Shoots come in young, red, or yellow-brown. The buds are reddish-brown and about 3 mm long. This herbal plant plays an important role in ayurvedic medicine and is also used for therapeutic purposes.
